Kyegegwa, Uganda – Hon. Kabahenda Flavia Rwabuboro, the Woman Member of Parliament for Kyegegwa District and the NRM General Secretary for the district, actively took part in the recently held NRM elections at Kasambya LC1 in Kyegegwa Town Council.

Her involvement was both symbolic and practical, as she offered guidance in her dual capacities as MP and party leader, ensuring that the process remained orderly and inclusive.

As NRM members, it is our duty to lead by example. These elections are a foundation for our party’s future, and they must be conducted peacefully and respectfully,” Hon. Rwabuboro stated while addressing voters at the polling center.

She emphasized that elections are a seasonal event and should not be a source of division within communities.

Let’s not allow elections to divide us. They come and go, but our relationships as community members and our loyalty to the NRM must stay strong,” she said.

Hon. Rwabuboro also called on all party members to fully participate in the electoral process, highlighting its importance in strengthening the party from the grassroots level upward.

The strength of the NRM begins here — at the village level. Your participation today builds the party that represents us tomorrow, all the way to the national level,” she added.

The elections at Kasambya LC1 were peaceful and well-organized, with residents turning out in significant numbers. Many expressed appreciation for the MP’s presence and her encouraging words, saying her involvement inspired confidence in the process.

As the NRM continues its internal elections across the country, Hon. Rwabuboro reaffirmed her commitment to ensuring that Kyegegwa District remains a model of unity, discipline, and effective leadership.
