Kyaka Isaza, On Sunday 18th May 2025 – In a spirited football event held on Saturday, Team Kyaka showcased their strength and readiness ahead of the highly anticipated MTN Tooro Amasaza Cup. The day featured two thrilling friendly matches that energized fans and boosted morale for the upcoming tournament.

The first match saw Mpenkoni FC face off with Kyaka Select, ending in a narrow 2-1 victory for Kyaka Select. In the second and most anticipated match of the day, the main Team Kyaka triumphed over Mwenge Isaza with an impressive 3-1 win.
Speaking after the matches, Team Manager Mr. Kato Adolf expressed deep confidence in the team’s preparation and potential.
We’re not just playing football; we’re chasing greatness. With the support of my coaching staff, Mr. Barigye Innocent and Mr. Birungi Eddy, we are fully committed to bringing the trophy home, said Mr. Kato.

The event also featured a strong show of support from the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Nyakabwa Abwooli Augustine, who emphasized the unity and non-partisan spirit surrounding this year’s tournament.
This time, the MTN Tooro Amasaza Cup will not be political like before. We’re here for the sport, for the community, and for victory. I urge all leaders to lead from the front for the good of Team Kyaka, Mr. Nyakabwa stated.
