Hon. Kabahenda Flavia Rwabuhoro has been officially nominated to contest in the upcoming National Resistance Movement (NRM) party primaries, seeking a second term as the Woman Member of Parliament for Kyegegwa District.
Her nomination signals the beginning of an important phase in the internal party process, where candidates will compete for the NRM flag ahead of the national elections. Having served in the 11th Parliament, Hon. Kabahenda brings with her a record of experience, legislative engagement, and community-based service.
During her first term, she played a central role in advocating for social protection, gender equity, youth skilling, and improved access to services in rural areas. Under her leadership, various initiatives were launched to promote women’s economic empowerment, support education, and enhance healthcare delivery within the district.
As she enters the NRM primaries, Hon. Kabahenda’s campaign is focused on consolidating past achievements while addressing the evolving needs of Kyegegwa’s population.
