On Sunday, 27th July 2025, celebrated Ugandan songstress Lydia Jazmine gave her fans and the music industry a double treat celebrating her birthday while officially unveiling her much-anticipated 16-track album, The One And Only.
Hosted at the stylish Noni Vie, the listening party attracted a glittering crowd of fans, fellow musicians, media personalities, and industry stakeholders. The night was filled with joy, music, and celebration as Lydia took the audience through the journey behind each song—acknowledging her producers, songwriters, and management team for bringing her musical vision to life.
The event highlighted Lydia Jazmine’s growth and resilience in the industry, underlining her status as one of Uganda’s most consistent and admired female artists.
“I have been in the industry for more than a decade, and it’s almost 11 years now,” Lydia told the crowd. “I know what I am. I know what I want. It was easy working with these producers and writers. I wanted to challenge myself. My heart is now so full. Thank you all so much.”
