The Senior Presidential Advisor for Mobilization in the Rwenzori Region, Mr. Kawamara Mishac, today, held a planning meeting with the Kyegegwa NRM/PLU Mobilization Team to strategize on how to effectively mobilize support for H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni under the NRM structures ahead of the presidential campaigns.
The meeting, held in Kyegegwa District, focused on strengthening grassroots organization and coordination between the NRM and PLU mobilization teams to ensure massive voter turnout and overwhelming support for the President.
The session was attended by the Chairperson of the Kyegegwa NRM/PLU Mobilization Team, Mr. Kiiza Amos a.k.a Owakabi, Mr. Ayekundira Baker, Assistant RDC, Mayor Kyegegwa Town Council hon. Musa Swaibu Rutangi, who also serves as the PLU Coordinator, and several mobilizers from across the district.
In his remarks, Mr. Kawamara Mishac urged the mobilizers to take the campaign message directly to the people through village-to-village and door-to-door engagements, emphasizing the importance of reaching every voter.
We must move from village to village and household to household to ensure that President Museveni’s support in Kyegegwa and across the Rwenzori region rises to 99%. Our mission is total mobilization for peace, stability, and prosperity, said Mr. Kawamara.

He further tasked the team to mobilize NRM supporters to attend the upcoming presidential campaign rally scheduled for 8th December, when H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will visit Kyegegwa District.
On this Mr. Kiiza Amos a.k.a Owakabi, the Head of NRM Mobilization in Kyegegwa, applauded Mr. Kawamara Mishac for accepting the team’s invitation and providing valuable guidance to strengthen their campaign approach.

Mr. Kawamara attributed the NRM’s continued popularity to visible national achievements that have improved the lives of Ugandans particularly the youth through programs such as the Youth Livelihood Program (YLP), the PWD Fund, the Parish Development Model (PDM), and Skilling Industrial Hubs established in Kasese, Ntoroko, and Kyenjojo districts.
He concluded by urging mobilizers to reach out to individuals who had joined the opposition, encouraging them to return to NRM the party of peace, unity, and progress.
