The Senior Presidential Advisor on Mobilization, Mr. Kawamara Mishac, has commended President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his unwavering dedication and sacrifice toward Uganda’s peace, stability, and development, describing him as a true patriot and visionary leader who continues to earn the trust and admiration of Ugandans.
Speaking during a youth engagement meeting in Kasese District, Mr. Kawamara said President Museveni’s leadership has transformed Uganda into a nation of opportunity, unity, and progress. He urged the youth to emulate the President’s spirit of patriotism and discipline, stressing that loyalty and commitment to national development are essential to protecting the gains achieved under the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government.
President Museveni is leading Uganda because he has done a lot and sacrificed for this country. That is why he remains the people’s darling and continues to be trusted by Ugandans, said Mr. Kawamara.

Mr. Kawamara encouraged the youth of Kasese to mobilize strong support for President Museveni and the NRM, noting that the involvement of young people is vital in sustaining peace and driving Uganda’s development agenda. He also called on them to actively participate in government empowerment programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga to enhance their livelihoods and contribute to local economic growth.
The gathering was also attended by Mr. Muhindi Eliphaz Bukombi, the Kasese District Chairperson, and Lt. Joe Walusimbi, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Kasese. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening NRM structures, promoting service delivery, and ensuring that government programs reach all citizens.
The meeting concluded with a renewed call for the people of Kasese and the wider Rwenzori region to remain united and steadfast in protecting the gains achieved under President Museveni’s leadership, while continuing to work together for peace, unity, and prosperity.
