Senior Presidential Advisor on Mobilization for Rwenzori and Tooro sub-regions, Kawamara Mishac, has appealed to the people of Ntoroko District to stand firmly behind NRM Presidential Flagbearer, H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, saying that continued support will secure ongoing development and peace in the region.
Addressing thousands of residents during Museveni’s campaign stop in Karugutu, Kawamara emphasized the importance of loyalty to a leadership that has guaranteed stability and implemented life-changing programs. He pointed out that the Rwenzori region has benefited significantly from wealth-creation efforts, improved infrastructure, improved border security, youth empowerment initiatives, and expanded access to government services.
Kawamara urged residents to increase voter mobilization, reminding them that Ntoroko has historically demonstrated overwhelming support for the President. He encouraged all categories of citizens—including youth, women groups, and community leaders—to rally behind the movement ahead of next year’s election.
Development becomes meaningful when communities own it and defend it. Ntoroko must show once again that when you choose stability, you choose progress, Kawamara stated.

He reaffirmed the government’s continued focus on empowering households through the Parish Development Model, commercial agriculture, and market access for local farmers.
Kawamara’s message reinforced the broader NRM campaign theme of protecting past achievements and steering Uganda into high middle-income status. His presence in Ntoroko strengthened the mobilization drive, aligning district leadership and grassroots structures to support President Museveni’s bid for re-election.
