Kyaka North, Kyegegwa – Uganda – Hon. Musasizi Amon, aspiring Member of Parliament for Kyaka North Constituency (2026–2031), has emphasized that Uganda’s greatest challenge is not the change of prespolitical parties, but rather the mindset of its people.

According to Hon. Musasizi, leadership transitions are inevitable in every democracy. However, success or failure depends less on who occupies the highest office and more on how individuals and communities adapt, respond, and embrace opportunities for growth.

Mindset is everything. A positive, growth-oriented, and resilient mindset enables us to see change as an opportunity for growth, remain focused on our mission, and act proactively rather than reactively,he said.

Hon. Musasizi stressed that a fixed mindset often leads to resistance and helplessness during political change. On the other hand, a growth mindset empowers people to focus on what they can control—hard work, innovation, and community development.

Instead of treating new leaders as obstacles, Hon. Musasizi encouraged Ugandans to see leadership changes as platforms for personal and collective development.

He emphasized that a positive mindset fosters trust, unity, and stability, ensuring that communities continue to thrive even amidst political transitions.

Uganda’s future is in the hands of its people. With the right mindset, we can overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and build a prosperous nation regardless of who is in power.
